Excel supports the calculation of numbers up to 15 decimal places and rounds a number after that. 2500000000000001 depending on the data you’re working with. Formatting a cell has no influence on a cell’s actual value. ![]() Setting the option for Precision as Displayed might solve the issue superficially, but getting a true mathematical result of what you want might not be possible, depending on what the actual underlying values are of the numbers you visually see.
